Step Inside the World of Smart Logistics! Visiting Farglory Free Trade Zone GOGO! ✈️｜GMC Logistics

Following our ocean freight visit to the Port of Taipei at the beginning of the year, this time, we stepped into the world of air cargo warehousing!

This week, the GMC team visited Farglory Free Trade Zone to get a firsthand look at the complete cargo workflow—from receiving to final dispatch.

Right upon entering the facility, the most eye-catching feature was the ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System), enabling rapid, precise inventory storage and management. We also toured the inspection areas, packaging zones, and special cargo storage facilities. Seeing the seamless task delegation and strict security monitoring up close gave us a deeper appreciation for how smart logistics balances efficiency with safety.

Additionally, we observed the ULD (Unit Load Device) palleterization and buildup operations, gaining valuable insights into the crucial details that ensure air cargo transit safety—a true reminder of the rigor and dedication behind professional logistics.

This visit was packed with insights, valuable exchanges, and a deeper understanding of smart logistics and air freight storage operations.
